Carolina Tenorio is an interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY, working across sculpture and performance to explore multicultural identity, labor, and embodiment.

Found objects are central to her work. Sourced from industrial urban environments and places of labor, these materials are recontextualized through craft to examine our relationships to them and the personal and collective histories they carry. Extending into dance and performance, her practice draws from labor environments ranging from industrial workplaces to strip clubs and burlesque venues to investigate the performative dimensions of work, value, and bodily agency.
